Founding Partner
Linda Solarek’s professional career is a culmination of curiosity, tenacity, learning, and taking on a challenge. She started in cardiac rehabilitation with her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and quickly recognized an affinity for business through sales and supervisory roles. She transitioned to orthopedics as a medical assistant and soon was managing the clinical staff for one of the largest orthopedic and sports medicine practices in the state of Maryland.
To further her leadership, entrepreneurial, operations and project management skills she joined a home inspection business as a co-owner and administrator. She facilitated the growth of this enterprise and sold the company to concentrate on real estate investment and management, but 8 years later the call of a new challenge and sense of purpose led her back to the medical field as a practice administrator. She spent the next 14 years at a physiatry practice then accepted a position as Administrative Director of the Fortney Breast Center at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
The partnership she formed with the Medical Director, Dr. Lorraine Tafra, helped transform the Breast Center in a variety of dimensions and both she and Dr. Tafra realized the powerful synergy that working together provided in taking the AAMC Breast Center to a new level of performance and growth. While Linda left the AAMC Breast Center to pursue other goals, the partnership and bond she formed with Dr. Tafra remained and together they began to plan a future where they could bring the many lessons learned and techniques practiced to other health care environments that were striving to establish excellence in breast health care. Described as a force multiplier, co-founding Breast Care Architects allows Linda to utilize her varied skill set and high-level executive functioning skills to identify and meet her clients needs.
